Ski areas and winter sports activities
The Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski area has over 80 kilometers of pistes and a total of 37 lifts. You will find even more ski space in the Zillertal Arena, which can be reached free of charge via the Zillertalbahn (stop directly at the valley station). You can experience year-round skiing fun on the Hintertux Glacier. Several toboggan runs (including night tobogganing) and ice skating rinks delight children and adults alike. The Zillertal is also very popular with ski tourers. If you are really exhausted at the end of the day, we recommend a visit to one of our après-ski bars.
Indoor sports in winter
Indoor sports fans will find an indoor pool with water slide and a climbing hall with trampolines at the Aufenfeld leisure park. At the Zell bowling alley, you can see how well you can hit the bull's eye. Tennis fans will also find a hall in Zell where they can play their favorite sport.
